The bull shark is a fish species belonging to the true shark family of the true shark order, also known as the bull white eyed shark or low finned true shark. The bull shark is mainly distributed in the Pacific Ocean between 40 degrees north and south latitude, the east and west coasts of the Atlantic Ocean, and the Indian Ocean. It can also be seen along the Pacific coast of Taiwan, China, China. It inhabits tropical and subtropical coastal areas, is common in bays, reefs, coral reef lagoons, and also enters rivers and lakes in tropical areas. The bull shark is one of the most dangerous sharks. Listed as Vulnerable (VU) species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species.
